As an inclusive, member-run portal, it hopes to connect rather than replace numerous non-profit and open-source OA initiatives, which tend to lack a visible and attractive front end, and which may not currently be interoperable. If its goals can be realized, SH may offer one solution to the full workflow platforms that for-profit conglomerates are on the cusp of achieving. This practitioner’s paper presents the key characteristics of SH and offers an early progress report.</p>
</profileDesc></biblFull></listBibl></body><back><listOrg><org xml:id="struct-0"><idno type="ROR">https://ror.org/04dkp9463</idno><orgName>University of Amsterdam [Amsterdam] = Universiteit van Amsterdam</orgName></org><org xml:id="struct-1"><idno type="ROR">https://ror.org/04dkp9463</idno><orgName>Universiteit van Amsterdam = University of Amsterdam</orgName><orgName acronym="UvA"/></org><org xml:id="struct-2"><idno type="ROR">https://ror.org/00f54p054</idno><orgName>Stanford University</orgName></org><org xml:id="struct-3"><idno type="ROR">https://ror.org/04dkp9463</idno><orgName>University of Amsterdam [Amsterdam]</orgName></org></listOrg></back></text></TEI>
